San Jose Graffiti artist Scape Martinez's art on display in city hall

If you get the chance to visit San Jose's City Hall, graffiti artist Scape Martinez has a number of paintings hanging in vice-mayor Cindy Chavez's office (801 N. 1st street on the 6th floor suite 600).

They will be there through February.

When he emailed to tell me, he joked, "Not bad for a tired graff guy huh?" Here's his web site as well - - his work is sick!

    Hey Marian (err Tigster),

I just wanted to drop you a quick note and say wahat's up! You're doing some pretty dope stuff here -- I didn't know you were up on the music seen like that. =) A far cry from giving testimony at UC Regents meetings eh?
    Much love and respect,
    UCB and COB-TPP
